Tolled sections in the Czech Republic include over 2,400 km of their road network. They are marked with a sign showing a truck and the word "MÝTO" or a symbol of an OBU. If you see a metal frame over the road with cameras and sensors, you are on a tolled section. Additionally your On-Board Unit (OBU) will usually beep once as you enter a new tolled segment.
Almost all motorways (D + number) are tolled, including:
- D1: Prague – Brno – Ostrava (The main artery)
- D2: Brno – Slovak border
- D5: Prague – Plzeň – German border
- D8: Prague – Ústí nad Labem – German border
- D11: Prague – Hradec Králové – Jaroměř
- D0: The Prague Ring Road (Pražský okruh), with some small exceptions near city exits
Unlike passenger cars (which mostly only pay for motorways), heavy vehicles must also pay for specific "First-Class" roads (I + number) including:
- I/3: Mirošovice – Mezno (main route toward Austria)
- I/20: Plzeň – České Budějovice
- I/35: Hradec Králové – Mohelnice
- I/43: Brno – Svitavy
-
I/38: Poděbrady – Jihlava
Please note: As of January 1, 2026, several newly completed road sections have been added to the toll list:
- D1: Říkovice – Přerov
- D35: Several new sections including Vysoké Mýto – Džbánov and Janov – Opatovec
- D55: Olomouc – Kokory
