Roads that do require the Czech e-vignette:
- Motorways (All roads marked with the “D” designation, e.g. D1, D5, D8, D11)
- Selected expressways if signposted as toll roads (not every expressway is tolled)
Roads that do not require a Czech e-vignette
- First-class (I/xx), second-class (II/xx), and third-class (III/xx) roads
- Urban roads and city streets
- Officially toll-free motorway sections (e.g., parts of Prague, Brno, Plzeň, Olomouc)
Important: If a motorway section is not explicitly listed as toll-free, a Czech e-vignette is required. You can check all toll roads of the Czech Republic here.
